About the Speakers Bureau

The District 25 Speakers Bureau provides articulate and professional speakers and trainers to meet the needs of your special events or organizational needs. Our versatile speakers are experienced, motivated and prepared to speak up to the standard of excellence established by Toastmasters International. We can even customize a presentation to meet your specific needs. We can provide public speakers for keynote addresses, session leaders, facilitators, life coaching, motivational topics, humorous speeches, Master of Ceremonies, and much more.

Have you ever dreamed of speaking to people and inspiring them to reach their goals? Are you ready to speak before large groups in professional and community settings? Do you have a great motivational speech or keynote address ready to present? Do you want to be a paid professional speaker and just need a little guidance to reach your goal?If you answered yes to any of these questions, the District 25 Speakers Bureau is the place for you. Our Bureau is actively searching for speakers and trainers to represent our District in a marvelous way. We want to help you reach your goals! Even though you will not be paid, we can help prepare you for paid speaking engagements.As an active Speakers Bureau member, you will participate in meetings, workshops and seminars designed to prepare you to present to groups outside of the Toastmasters organization. You will also learn to develop great speech materials and a speaker’s biography. Speakers Bureau members may be featured in the District 25 Speakers Bureau Directory or on our web site where visitors can select a speaker for their upcoming event.

How to Sign Up

If you are member of District 25 Toastmasters or are a member of another District and would like to speak for a group here in the DFW area please follow the instructions below.

1.  Open the Speakers Bureau Application (Word Doc).

2.  Complete the application and return to the Speakers Bureau Chair.

3.  A Speakers Bureau committee member will contact you to discuss your submission and the Speakers Bureau membership requirements.

NOTE: Those desiring to be listed on our website as a speaker or trainer will be contacted and scheduled to do a presentation before a panel of evaluators. The panel will provide feedback aimed at determining your performance against a standard level of excellence of professional public speaking. This evaluation is intended as a scale for the general public however, will have no influence on Toastmaster assignments. Having met our expected level of excellence a brief summary of your speaking talents and presentations will be posted on our site for the general public to view. The general public may request your services by contacting the Speakers Bureau Chair. We will confirm your availability and follow-up to ensure the assignment matches and has been filled. We will also follow-up with the company or organization to pick up audience surveys and feedback form to help us improve the services we provide.
